Most Minka Lavery chandeliers ship with a standard 4-inch round canopy, chain-extension pack, and swivel socket so a 1962 ranch house and a 2018 new-build both get a clean install without field fabrication.

Two-Story Foyer

Laurel Estate and Westchester County chandeliers carry enough visual scale for 18–22 ft foyers while keeping socket loads reasonable on older ceiling mounts.

Formal Dining Room

5-, 6-, and 8-light chandeliers (Atella, Shyloh, Acacia) sized for 6- to 10-foot tables, with downlight candle sleeves that keep the table surface lit without glare.

Primary Bathroom

LED bath bars such as 231-613-L stay under 25W, carry IP44 rating for damp zones above the vanity, and match the Heritage Bronze finish used in the adjacent bedroom.

Covered Front Porch

Trescott and De Luz outdoor wall lanterns are UL damp-rated, with cast-aluminum housings that survive 10-year coastal exposure without finish flake.

Stair Landing

Mini chandeliers (Kaitlen, Poleis) and linear chandeliers clear 80-inch head-height limits while still reading as a ceremonial fixture, not a ceiling-hugger.

Kitchen Island

Linear chandeliers pair 3 or 5 light heads across a 48- to 72-inch run, tuned to 2700K so countertop color reads true against painted cabinetry.

Fixtures read wrong in a room when the diameter disagrees with the ceiling. The starting points below work for most North American rooms; the design desk will confirm for irregular plans.
